The Practice Room

Have the conversation before the real one.

Rehearse out loud with Dr. Dean, an AI stand-in for your doctor. Say the thing you've been rehearsing in your head. Hear how it lands. Notice what you'd change.

What The Practice Room is

A quiet, voice-based rehearsal for the appointment you've been preparing for. You bring your health map. Dr. Dean plays the part of a busy but attentive family doctor and asks the questions you'll probably get asked in the room.

It isn't medical advice. It isn't a diagnosis. It's practice. Nothing you say to Dr. Dean is stored anywhere after the session ends. Each session is capped at 15 minutes so it feels like the real thing.

Why rehearsing out loud helps

Saying it out loud improves retention by up to 20%.

What patients tell us after a first session

Fewer 'I forgot to mention' moments once you leave the room.

The reason most people practice at all

Hearing your own words back is how you notice what to change.

How a session flows

  1. Create your health map

You need a map before you can practice. It gives you a picture of what you're carrying, so the conversation starts with what actually matters most.

  2. Choose Warm or Direct

Two versions of Dr. Dean. Warm asks gently and gives you room. Direct moves faster and pushes back a little. Pick the one closer to the appointment you're preparing for.

  3. Speak out loud for up to 15 minutes

Voice only, like a phone call. You can keep the map open beside you, pop the full map over the top, or practice without it. End whenever you feel done.

  4. Get feedback on how it went

After the call, see a short recap of what you covered, what you may have left out, and where the conversation felt strongest. It's a gentle read on the rehearsal, so you know what to lead with when the real appointment starts.

What Dr. Dean is and isn't

An AI role-playing your doctor. Not a clinician.

  • Won't diagnose. Dr. Dean stays hypothetical. When something clinical comes up he'll frame it as "if I were your real doctor…"
  • Won't replace your appointment. Practice is practice. The real conversation still needs to happen with a real doctor.
  • Will hear you out. Dr. Dean asks the kinds of follow-up questions a good family doctor would, so the words are already on your tongue when you walk in.
  • Nothing is saved. Sessions aren't recorded. When the call ends, the audio and transcript are gone.
